Cancellation Policy

* Services Provided - 30 minutes on-location photo session. - 10 images edited with Kavya Iyer Photography’s signature look presented in an online gallery. - Private, password-protected online gallery to view and an option to purchase additional images from the session. - Print release available. * Cancellation and Rescheduling - Cancellation by Client: All payments are non-refundable. At the photographer’s discretion, the payment may be applied toward a rescheduled session if available. If the client does not attend the scheduled session without prior notice, all fees paid are forfeited. - Cancellation by Photographer:  In the unlikely event that the photographer must cancel, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule. If that does not work out, the client will receive a full refund of all payments. - Weather & Outdoor Sessions: For outdoor sessions, the photographer will monitor weather conditions. If the weather is unsuitable (e.g., heavy rain, storms, unsafe conditions), the photographer will contact the client to reschedule. If the session proceeds despite less-than-ideal weather (e.g., light rain, overcast skies) and the client chooses not to continue, this will be treated as a client cancellation. - Emergencies & Illness: If either party experiences an emergency or illness, both client and photographer agree to communicate promptly and reschedule at the earliest convenience. Retainers will be transferred to the new session date in these cases.
