My approach to photography is all about capturing real, unposed moments.

Photography is more than images — it’s preserving the fleeting seasons of your life in a way that feels honest, vibrant, and deeply personal. My approach is storytelling-driven and candid, focusing on real connection rather than stiff poses.
I work with a limited number of families each month to ensure every session receives the time, care, and creative attention it deserves.

Parenthood is filled with irreplaceable moments that can slip away with time. I’m here to help you capture and keep them vivid.

Session Experience
All sessions are relaxed, guided, and unhurried. I’ll gently direct you when needed, but the magic happens in the in-between moments — the laughter, the quiet snuggles, the way your family naturally connects.
Sessions are best scheduled during golden hour for that soft, glowing light you see throughout my work.

Frequently asked questions
How does pricing work?
My pricing is simple and intentional. My standard sessions are all-inclusive. You’ll receive 75+ fully edited, high-res images in a downloadable gallery, with no extra fees for photos. My mini sessions include 10 fully edited, high-res images with an option to purchase additional images.
Do you travel for photoshoots outside of California?
Yes! I love capturing stories in new locations. Travel fees and accommodations apply depending on distance and location. Please reach out with your destination and vision, and we can create a custom plan to bring your session to life wherever you are.

Do you help with styling?
Yes—styling is an important part of the storytelling process. I provide thoughtful, easy-to-follow styling guidance to help you choose outfits that feel natural, cohesive, and true to you. Whether we’re photographing at the beach, in the redwoods, or in your home, I’ll help coordinate looks that photograph beautifully in Santa Cruz and Bay Area light.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
The turnaround time is 2 weeks for mini sessions and 3 weeks for standard sessions. An expedited 1-week turnaround time can be added on for $100.
Absolutely. Santa Cruz and the greater Bay Area offer an incredible variety of locations—from redwood forests and coastal cliffs to beaches and in-home sessions. After booking, you’ll receive a welcome guide with a curated list of local locations to help you choose what fits your vision best.
Can our images remain private?
I retain the copyright to all images, but you may choose to keep your session private by purchasing a full copyright buyout. Photographers rely on images for marketing, and this fee helps offset alternative marketing costs.
What is your rescheduling policy?
I understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable. One reschedule is allowed per session with at least 14 days’ notice. After one reschedule, additional fees may apply, and no-shows will result in a forfeited retainer.
I monitor the forecast closely leading up to your session. Coastal fog is very common in Santa Cruz and often adds a soft, moody feel to images. If heavy rain or extreme weather is expected, we’ll talk through backup options or alternate locations.
When is the best time for outdoor sessions?
When should we schedule our newborn session?
I photograph exclusively in soft, natural light. Early mornings work beautifully in shaded redwood locations, while golden hour—about an hour before sunset—is perfect for beach and coastal sessions. I’ll guide you on the best timing based on season, location, and typical Santa Cruz coastal conditions.
Newborn sessions are best photographed within the first 7–21 days after birth. I recommend booking during your second trimester so your spot is reserved and we can stay flexible around your baby’s arrival.
Where do newborn sessions take place?
What if my baby is fussy?
Most newborn sessions take place in your home for a relaxed, lifestyle approach using natural light.
That’s completely normal. Newborn sessions are baby-led and unhurried, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddling. There’s no rush—your baby sets the pace.
